This is a really fun interview today with Hamish Conway from Sell Global.

By way of background, I met Hamish at the Retail Global conference up on the Gold Coast in May earlier this year and we sat together with Calliope, Kayla and several others on an Amazon Sellers Panel. Last week we caught up for a coffee and he kindly agreed to come on today’s show and share his story, experience and wisdom.

Hamish and his team help New Zealand Consumer brands expand their businesses through Amazon’s global marketplaces with great success, helping them achieve 5, 6 and 7 figure revenues in very short time-frames.

Hamish shares some of his secrets around product assessment, marketing strategies and frustrations in dealing with Amazon! He understands better than most the challenges of setting up on Amazon as a foreigner and brings a fresh perspective.

Interestingly he helps many food companies get into the notoriously difficult ‘gated’ category of “Groceries and Gourmet Food”.
